Thom Padmore is the curator of The Slow Wave Sound, a quarterly event in Sheffield devoted to low and slow music. Held one Sunday per season, the night offers a space for deep listening and gentle immersion, featuring ambient, drone and minimal works that encourage quiet reflection. Inspired by artists like La Monte Young, Stars of the Lid and William Basinski, it invites listeners into sustained tones and sonic stillness. Thom will host The Slow Wave Sound radio offering a monthly drift with immersive sounds.
