Uncommon Nasa is a New York–based rapper, producer, and engineer known for his dense lyricism, experimental beats, and sick storytelling. Emerging from NYC’s underground hip-hop scene, he first gained recognition working with Def Jux artists before launching his own label, Uncommon Records. His music blends boom-bap, noise, and avant-rap influences, exploring identity, technology, and city life with wicked intelligence and whacked production.
In his monthly show Car-Chunes Sound Power Hour, Nasa will be dropping dancefloor melters from across the spectrum of reggae with a big focus on dancehall.
